Nostalgia

I'm hoping that not too many of my posts revolve around shit from the past even though it has provided so many laughs over the years. Was driving down the road today on the way to an area where I take a walk from time to time and was coming up to Fussell Road in Kilsyth and just had to pull over and check out pick-a-part.I seem to remember spending so much of my time there just after I got my license and received the Mazda 1500.I think I went through about 3 window wiper water bottles and numerous other shit. Then there was all the stuff for Kurt's car,Bag's car.It used to freak me out when you would get there and see a fresh car that would have just come in and was a bit of a write off,and there would sometimes be a perfect impact mark on the windscreen a bit larger than a head made from the inside. But,there were funnier things as well, some of which I have mentioned on one of the blogs somewhere, the favourite was that mate of Bag's who I only met that one time who took a complete clutch assembly through the paying area down his overalls! My biggest crime was probably stealing an e-clip or two but am sure others did worse than that. Please post greatest crime etc.

Ritchie (Schulze) wrapped a brake cable around his waist under his overalls. God only knows what Adam got out of the place. We all of course know what he put in there aka. The Renongo, complete with seahawks label.
As for my greatest crime, hmm if not spitting on many animals at a zoo or executing sparrows with a bb gun as a teenager, it would probably be stealing a keyring and a He-man character from Coles for which I was not caught, unlike Dodd and the fishing tackle fiasco.

Mate of mine who took out a clutch, I can't even remember who that would be, got a name or description? I used to grab fuses and globes and the odd toolbox sized part but just wasn't up for the Grand Theft Auto part.
I do remember when Ben and I went to a wreckers in Dandenong where it was $50 for all you could carry day. Two guys carried out an engine for $100 and we got more Maz 323 parts than needed.

Can't remember his name,he had another guy with him,may have been someone you worked with at Eastside. He had this pouch inside his blue overalls so that he could carry shit out without having to hold it or use his hands to keep it against his body.Genius.Must have been someone you had little contact with as even that day you hadn't seen him in ages.
